Dr. Daniela G.S. Filippone is a seasoned medical professional specializing in otolaryngology with an extensive background in clinical training and surgery. Graduating in 1994 with a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Western Ontario and with a foundation in Behavioral Neurosciences from Laurentian University, she has honed her expertise over a prolific career, starting with five years of postgraduate training at the University of Ottawa.
Certified in ACLS and ATLS, she also holds licensure for general practice in Indiana and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada) in her specialty. Dr. Filippone has completed advanced training in various specialties including aesthetic procedures, ultrasound for surgeons, and sinus surgery, complementing her qualifications with Module 1 Training in Fotona LightWalker Laser.
An accomplished academic, Dr. Filippone has been active in scientific education initiatives, scholarship recipient, and is fluent in multiple languages. Her athleticism is evident in her pursuit of long-distance running and aquathlons.
Throughout her career, Dr. Filippone has presented critical research at major medical conferences, contributed as an educator at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and held various roles in hospitals across Canada.
Currently, Dr. Filippone leads as Medical Director at the Head & Neck Therapeutics & Diagnostics Center in Sudbury, where she continues to innovate and provide top-tier patient care.
Daryl Foreshew graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1997 and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He has over 28 years of experience in rehabilitation treatments for musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, and motor vehicle accidents. Foreshew has participated as a therapist for the Common Wealth, PAN AM and Olympic games training camps. He has extensive knowledge of head, neck, and mouth functions.
Foreshew’s approach involves a combination of massage techniques including manual manipulation, ultrasound therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and orofacial myofunctional therapy. This combined approach helps individuals recover by improving mobility, reducing symptoms, and promoting healing.
Nicole Desloges OMP, M. OMSc, stands out as a skilled Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and the owner of Sudbury Osteopathy Alternative & Holistic Health Services Inc. Beginning her career with a solid nursing background, her passion for holistic health led her to the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. After a demanding 235-week, 4.5-year program, Desloges emerged with a Masters Of Practice Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences.
A respected member of both the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA) and Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN), Desloges’ qualifications are acknowledged by insurance providers, though she also caters to those without coverage. Her inclusive approach welcomes patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, without necessitating a referral.
Desloges embraces osteopathy’s holistic philosophy, focusing on gentle, manual manipulation of the body to promote self-healing. She believes in the body’s inherent capacity to heal, maintaining that her practice aids in realigning the body to tap into its own natural healing abilities. Through her comprehensive care, Desloges is devoted to improving patients’ well-being, demonstrating a profound commitment to nurturing health naturally and effectively.
Dr. Darren Kulik has been a proud resident of Sudbury since 2002. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he completed his dental education at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1993. Following his graduation, Dr. Kulik honed his skills during a hospital residency at the Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg before entering private practice in his hometown. In 2000, he relocated to London, Ontario, joining a practice that specialized in treating TMD, headaches, sleep apnea, and orthodontic issues. This role also afforded him the opportunity to lecture internationally on these topics.
In 2003, Dr. Kulik moved to Sudbury, where he maintained a full-time private practice until 2022. After selling his general dental practice, he shifted his focus to Janus Health System, where he is part of a team that addresses headaches, dizziness, tinnitus, and other related head and neck issues. Additionally, he is actively involved in the seniors dental program for Public Health in Sudbury, Ontario, and continues to provide dental services as an associate in a private practice in the Greater Sudbury Area.
Dr. Kulik is profoundly grateful for the opportunities that Sudbury has provided him, as well as for the support of his wife and three children, who keep his life vibrant and fulfilling.
